There is no better way to start the new year: we bring good news from our subsidiary in Bahrain. Mr. Yousef bin Abdul Hussain Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Labour Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has recognised Global Exchange as a renowned company within the country's private sector for promoting and recruiting local talent. We had the honour to be the only foreign exchange company to receive this important recognition.

This award was presented under the patronage of the King of Bahrain, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and on the occasion of the national holidays of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the 25th anniversary of His Majesty the King's accession to the throne. In this context was also held the 39th annual ceremony to honour outstanding workers and establishments in the private sector.

During the ceremony, a group of workers, business leaders and human resources officials, as well as establishments from various productive and economic sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain, including the Global Exchange subsidiary, were honoured.

The ceremony was attended by leading personalities of the country

Along with the Minister of Legal Affairs and Labour of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the ceremony was attended by many Bahraini figures such as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour, members of the Council of Representatives and the Shura Council, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as heads and representatives of trade union organisations.

His Excellency the Minister conveyed to all the honourees the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and his wishes for progress and excellence in the Kingdom's economic development process. He also emphasized the importance of the cooperation and alignment of goals and efforts between government bodies, companies and employees, as a way to foster the path towards the development and prosperity of the country.
